I lived in this complex for 3 years and absolutely loved it there. It was quiet, well kept, and the staff was exceptional and quick to respond. I only moved to be closer to work, but after a not so pleasant experience at my new apartment complex, I will be looking to move back here after my lease is up.
I lived here for 3 years and here is what I can say. It was very conveniently located. There are multiple gyms near by as well as a grocery store. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. For the most part I felt pretty safe walking outside on the walking paths. However, in the last year we received multiple emails from the complex of criminal activities. Car break ins, Cadillac converters being stolen, and apartment breakins. The complex was always pretty good about notifying us of the activity but it is one of the reasons I ultimately decided to move. The walls were also extremely thin. I could hear my neighbors next to me, above me, and below me. I get apartment living but I could hear a conversation between two people next door. Lastly, there are soooo many non residents at the pool during the summer months, which made it hard to enjoy that particular amenity. Overall I think the Lodge is a good complex, the staff was always attentive and quick to respond, but it does have negatives that come along with apartment living, especially in Houston.
I lived here for 5 months , only moved out as the family arrived from the UK and we wanted a larger home. Quiet, peaceful and friendly. The squirrels are fun to watch. If I ever need a 1 or bed apartment again whilst in Houston then I would head back there. Dan
Do NOT move here!! Avoid building 5 at all costs! If you want to hear loud banging music ALL night long this is your place. This has been going on for weeks. It’s currently 1:45 in the morning and music is pounding. Management has not done anything to resolve the issue!
In are 3 Years that we hace lived at the Lodge at spring Shadows and i have to say that this apartments are really well set up and have Great maintenence. But i have to say that the security Team has failed in keeping are cars safe in a matter of 6 months they have broke in my husbands Work car aswell as other neighboors we know.and is honestly a anoying and terrible issue i want to call attention too and say that you will have trouble With this at the lodge at spring shadows.
I’m so glad I no longer live here. Parking is an absolute nightmare, especially if you live near building 2 & 3. Inoperable cars parked permanently under covered parking spots (flat tires/expired tags) & when I brought it to the attention of management numerous times, they showed zero interest, brushed me off, but they’re quick to mention the parking on the opposite end of the complex.
Pool, not enticing. AT ALL. Foul smell coming from planters not having proper drainage. Most people that use it are not even residents. They’ll trash the place up, bring dogs in, swim in denim.
Gates are almost always broken.
Maintenance team is great, they resolve work orders fairly quick.
I’m going to go ahead and green light this place for a 5 star review as I don’t think they deserve the average rating here
I’m an experienced renter, after several miscommunications with Kessler Jersey Village, we decided to rent here last minute. Eboni helped us out, communicated quickly and honestly. From application to move-in, the entire process took about 4 business days. And Eboni was in constant email communication with us about any type of missing paperwork or delays.
This place is Travelers employee friendly. We were offered a discount before anything was signed and this discount was honored.
A huge plus here is that the grounds are very well kept. You can’t tell how many dogs actually live here because (1) most people seem cool and clean up after their dogs and (2) the grounds crew is here several times a week to also keep things clean. The grass is green. Trash is picked up from the ground.
The communication with the office is open, I’ve received notifications about outages and crime directly from the office. No more learning things second hand from the neighbor.
Parking is pretty bad, especially if you work a night shift and come home at 2am. I’ve had to park 5 buildings away easily. I haven’t experienced a break in, but I am careful to remove valuables.
This is a great place for young professionals or young families. Other dog owners seem knowledgeable have treated us respectfully during walks
The place is terrible. They have gates that let everyone in since their open for so long. This is assuming they are even working; they get broken every month.
Then there’s the safety cars get stolen, broken into, and that’s just cars. …
